CRUSA Intramural

CRUSA Intramural
Intramural Program at CRUSA

The goals of the Intramural program are to develop an interest in soccer, introduce basic soccer skills and have fun! At the younger ages, the emphasis should be exclusively on having fun, learning the basics of the game and getting all players involved in the game.  As players get older, having fun is still the number one priority but keeping score and having referees become part of the routine. All players and parents are reminded that player development and enjoying the game are what intramurals is all about. Always support and cheer your child’s effort and involvement and not just the results.

Overview of Intramural program:

Fall Soccer — Games start the first Saturday after Labor Day.

Spring Soccer — Games are scheduled to start  in late March or early April (weather dependent).

Coaches — CRUSA relies on volunteers to coach teams. The intramural program is the largest program within CRUSA. Approximately 1,000 children play in the fall season and approximately 600 children play in the spring season. Therefore, the need for coaches is substantial. Training is provided for coaches prior to and during each season. CRUSA welcomes new and experienced coaches into the Intramural Program.

Equipment — CRUSA provides a shirt and socks for each child participating in the Intramural Program. Parents are expected to provide shorts, adequate footwear (sneakers or soccer cleats) and shin guards.

Refunds- Registration fee refunds are considered on an individual basis and Administrative fees will be applied for dropped registrations.  In general, once the season begins no refunds are given.  Late fees are not refundable. Please see our REFUND POLICY for more specific information.
